TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES

  1. Appendix I, Part A - 4“Preferred Lies” and “Winter Rules”Course Conditions - Mud, Extreme Wetness, Poor Conditions and Protection of Course. Players may lift, clean and place within one club length on a closely-mown area through the green. This temporary local rule only applies from 7 September 2015 till further notice.
  2. Should a ball come to rest in the bowl of a newly planted tree marked with a blue stake and the tree or bowl around the tree interferes with the stance or swing, the ball may, without penalty, be lifted and dropped within one club length of the nearest point of relief, but not nearer the hole.
  3. Should a ball come to rest in or on the edging groove around the green, the ball may, without penalty, be lifted, cleaned and placed at the nearest point which avoids the condition, but not nearer the hole.
