Membership 2026

All membership categories are open-ended: members are invoiced yearly until they resign in writing. Our financial year runs from 1 January to 31 December, and fees are payable on or before 31 December.

Payment and conditions

Payment options
  • Once-off payment for the total yearly membership fees, by EFT, card, cash or SGC voucher.
  • Monthly instalments (for no more than the months remaining until the membership year-end in December). All members paying monthly must sign the SGC debit order form. The HNA card and GNGU affiliation fees are added to the first instalment.
Sunday to Friday membership

This membership is for a fixed term of 12 months. It stays open-ended until the member resigns in writing. If the member does not resign before 31 December, they are liable for the full 12-month period.

Additional fees (optional)
  • Handicap card: R310.00 per year
  • Gauteng North Golf Union affiliation: R640.00 per year
  • To be affiliated with Services Golf Club for these periods, both the HNA card and GNGU affiliation are payable: R770.00 in total.
Membership and payment conditions
  • The HNA card and GNGU affiliation are payable upfront (if the member chooses to be affiliated with Services GC).
  • The HNA card and GNGU affiliation fees are payable to the governing bodies on 31 December every year. If a membership contract overlaps into the next financial year, members must tell Services Golf Club at least 5 days before 31 December whether they want to stay affiliated. If they do, the fees are payable again, subject to any increase from the governing bodies. If the club is not informed, the fees are charged to the member's account automatically.
  • Fees are subject to change at the start of each SGC financial year (1 January). Members on a fixed-term contract that overlaps the new financial year are not affected by the increase.
  • Membership rates are valid from 1 January to 31 December. Members applying after 1 October pay the increased rates from 1 January.
  • Members resigning after 31 December are liable for the HNA card and GNGU affiliation fees, plus a pro-rata membership fee for the period after 1 January.
  • All golf games are subject to availability. Members playing on a competition day (public holidays and Wednesday competitions) who want to take part pay the competition fee at the Pro Shop, normally R20.00, depending on the competition.

No refunds once you have teed off

Once a golfer has teed off, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, regardless of whether the round was completed or not. Please check the weather forecast and course conditions before your tee time. By starting play, golfers accept these terms. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
